Pretty Weather

A module to display content depending on the current weather.

You can display current weather information in your own content. It is also possible to create conditional content blocks based on the weather information.

We have added the following features
  • Ability to add multiple content blocks, each with its own rules.
  • Placeholders for temperature, feels like, minimum and maximum temperature, and location name.
  • Ability to add a default content block.
  • Three weather providers: OpenWeatherMap, OpenWeatherMap One Call API 4.0, and Open-Meteo (no API key needed).
  • True daily minimum and maximum temperature with One Call API 4.0 or Open-Meteo.
  • Optional location name for the {name} placeholder.
  • Choice of Celsius, Kelvin & Fahrenheit.
  • Built-in caching with a minimum time between API calls in minutes.
  • Debug option to display the latest API data and errors.
  • English and Dutch language files.

Requirements
  • Joomla 5.2 or newer, including Joomla 6.
  • An API key for the OpenWeatherMap providers. Open-Meteo works without a key (free for non-commercial use).

Pretty Weather Dubai

The current temperature in Dubai is 30 Celcius. It feels like it's 38. Minimum temperature today will be 28, Maximum will be 39.

Pretty Weather Antartica

The current temperature in Antarctica is -18 Celcius. It feels like it's -24. Minimum temperature today will be -20, Maximum will be -18.
